If a shipping chokepoint like the Strait of Hormuz or the Suez Canal ever got blocked, some countries would feel it far more than others — because more of their imports normally pass through it, with little of their own production to fall back on. This page ranks countries by that exposure, and ranks the chokepoints themselves by how much trade actually depends on them. Nothing here is currently disrupted — these are baseline numbers for how exposed things are today, not a live event or a war scenario.
